2. Place the Aeropress on the cup you will be brewing in and pour hot water through it to rinse the filter and preheat the cup.
3. Pour the water out of the cup.
4. Put the freshly ground coffee in the Aeropress and place it back on the cup, on a scale.
5. Reset the weight and start the timer.
6. Quickly pour in freshly boiled water up to 250 g, while turning the Aeropress round.
7. Take the docking equipment off the scale.
8. Fit the piston by pushing it down at an angle and then pulling it up slightly to create a vacuum.
9. Let the coffee steep for 1 minute.
10. Remove the piston and stir once.
11. Replace the piston and press down gently. This should take approx. 30 seconds.
TIPS
To prevent bitterness, you can stop pressing when you hear a hissing sound, rather than pressing all the way down.
