INFO
degree of grinding
Filter malt
amount of coffee
14 g coffee and 220 g water
HOW TO DO IT
1. Fix the piston in the aeropress so that it is just above "4". Turn the aeropress upside down and place it on the scale.
2. Place the filter in the filter holder and rinse the filter with warm water. Place to the side.
3. Place filter ground coffee in the aeropress and zero the weight.
4. Start the timer and pour over 50 g of water and leave to infuse for 30 seconds.
5. Then top up with 170 g of water and attach the filter holder with the paper filter to the aeropress and screw it into place.
6. After 2 minutes, turn the aeropress over the cup you want to brew in.
7. Press the piston down and stop when you hear a hissing sound, which takes about 20-30 seconds.
WHY BREW INVERTED?
When brewing aeropress with the standard recipe, some of the brewing water will run through the filter before the plunger is attached. This can cause the coffee to taste under-extracted. To avoid this, you can brew inverted.
