KALITA SMALL

INFO
degree of grinding
Slightly finer than filter malt
amount of coffee
15 g to 250 g water
HOW TO DO IT
1. Moisten the filter in the filter holder and pour away excess water. Place the coffee in the filter holder.
2. Reset the weight. Start the timer as soon as you start pouring. Pour in approx. 30 g of water so that all the coffee is in contact with water.
3. Leave the coffee to steep for 30 seconds.
4. Then pour in gentle circular motions up to 250 g of water.
Total pouring time approx. 1:30 min
Total brewing time approx. 2:30-3:00 min
TIPS
If you find that the coffee is brewing too quickly, you can take small pouring breaks during brewing or grind the coffee a little finer. If it brews too late, you can grind the coffee a little coarser or pour a little faster to reduce the pouring time.
With Kalita size 155 (small Kalita) you can brew up to 3 dl of coffee. To do this, increase the amount of coffee to 18 g and the amount of water to 300 g. Follow the same procedure as above, but the pouring time and brewing time will increase slightly.
