Barista 2

Barista course for experienced baristas who want to delve deeper into the art of espresso, including weight distribution between coffee and water, brewing temperatures, milk steaming and latte art.

Join Barista 2 - our barista course for experienced baristas who have plenty of experience with espresso machines and espresso-based drinks.

Participants will receive in-depth training in espresso, including milk steaming and latte art, grinding degrees, brewing temperatures and weight distribution between coffee and water. The aim of the course is to be able to analyse and make changes that optimise the taste of the espresso, as well as steaming perfect milk as a starting point for making latte art.

Important information:

  • The course is only for Solberg & Hansen's corporate customers and retailers, so hPlease state your customer number when signing up.
  • Course participants must have completed Barista 1 at least 3 months before enrolling in Barista 2.
  • Each company can register up to two people for this course every six months. Please contact your sales representative if you would like a course for more people. 
  • We need the full name and contact details of all course participants.
  • The course is held in our course rooms attached to the distillery at Ryen in Oslo and lasts for 3 hours.
  • The registration deadline is the last Friday before the course is held.
  • We handle enrolments on an ongoing basis, and you will receive a confirmation email when you have been allocated a place on the course.
  • As we work with flavour and aroma, we ask course participants not to wear perfume on the course.
  • The courses are held in Norwegian. Please contact us if you want courses in English.
