It all started in 2011.
Not in a quiet café or a meeting room, but at Hell in Trøndelag.
In the midst of «Fashion Week in Hell», surrounded by dark expressions, strong contrasts and the sound of black metal. On the catwalk, ANTI Sweden showcased a new clothing collection, and on stage stood the black metal band 1349.
This is where Black Coffee was born.
An uncompromising fusion of one of Norway's strongest cultural exports and a drink that is part of daily life in almost every corner of the world. Two worlds that, at first glance, don't seem to belong together, but which share something fundamental: identity, rituals, and strong experiences.
26 volumes over 15 years
Black Coffee took his name seriously from day one.
Dark. Intense. Fearless.
Over the years, Black Coffee has continued to evolve, but has always retained the same core. Each volume has been a new chapter, a new interpretation of the same expression. In total, there have been 26 (soon to be 27) volumes over 15 years.
It's never been about being for everyone. It's been about creating something with character.
And perhaps that's precisely why Black Coffee still exists 15 years later.
